Assuming you've tried IMGMOUNT, sorry, no idea. You should be using 0.72, though. It might have, I dunno, more compatibility?

Alright, thanks.
I'm using 0.72, but I haven't tried imagemount. That's what I'll try right now.
Edit: Worked like a charm, thank you!
If you must use the cracked version (though you should find an original), then you'll need my patch (which I can't post here). The Prestige crack is bad and doesn't work in DOSBox.
Hi guys
First, I was really pissed of, that dosbox don't accepted my Original Earthworm Jim CD's.
Finally, I've found out a solution to get EWJ1 and EWJ2 get to work with CD. To use an image is an option, but the extrem loud (digitally read) Audiotracks from Image, got me on my nerves.
First I use Dosbox 0.73. (short infos..)
core=auto, cycles 57000
for ewj1
mount d F:\ -t cdrom -ioctl -label EWJ1
for ewj2
mount d F:\ -t cdrom -ioctl -label EWJ2
you have to set "xms=" and "ems=" to "false".
if you start now (ewj1/2), the drive ejects also, but the "dos/4gw" sequenze freezes, you have the chance to re-close the drive quickly, and its starts. (but only if you set the right label in mounting line (EWJ1 or EWJ2), and only if you have set xms and ems to false. Don't ask me why, but it works so.
(Btw. When you exit the game to dosbox (dos prompt), grate bar guys !!!...
the drive ejects again 😁
Here's my complete dosbox.conf.
