Hi,
I'm a nub here. Hope I can describe what's happening and someone can help.

I had games playing just fine but something has happened. Now when a game starts up there is nothing but vertical colored bars to the very right of the screen. Everything seems frozen with no control. I can ALT-Tab back to the Windows Deck top and then click on Dosbox on the task bar and the window will come up with the game running fine but it's now not in full screen mode anymore. Only thing I can remember doing is changing the screen resolution from 800 x 600 to 1025 x 786 and back again.

I'm actually launching Dosbox and the game with a batch file form Dos Shell.

Thanks, Dave

Try a different output method in your dosbox.conf like opengl.

I'll give it a look later today. Thanks. I thought it looked like a video driver issue.

Thanks again, Dave

Damm, that did not work. Tried all offered settings on that line. Nothing helped. All games start up just fine if I don't full screen. When I enable full screen that's when the problems start. My windows xp system has ddraw enabled. Could that be part of the problem? Any ideas are welcomed.

Thanks, Dave

What's your graphics card? Do you have the newest driver?

Thanks for all the help. I've figured out what I did wrong. I remembered that I took the computer out of my MAME cab and hooked it up to a different monitor. That's when the problems started. I changed from a 25" CRT to a 15" Samsung LCD. Must have been the monitor driver as I have it set to "Plug and Play monitor". Anyway, I set the Fullscreen resolution in dosbox.conf to anything other then "Original" and everything works good.

Thanks again, Dave
