From Windows XP > Dosbox > Windows 3.1 > Atari 2600

I had this trio of 3.5's that came with the Atari 2600 Action Pack collection of Activision classics. It used WinG, so I broke out my Windows 3.1 diskettes and installed it under Dosbox. I had a problem trying to directly install the game under the Windows emulation (it corrupted my System.INI file!), so I installed it on my Windows 98 box, then copied the files to the folder I made under Windows 3.1. And it runs! There are settings to change number of frames for smoother or faster animation, but it has trouble running fast and smooth at 30 frames a sec. Gee, I wonder why? 😉
