You have an error. So, if you enter CLS, the font changes back to regular font. If you haven't done this before, enter f1, f2, f3, f4, f5, f6, f7, etc to fix the problem.

So, if you enter CLS, the font changes back to regular font.

Custom fonts? That's what cls is usually for, resetting the graphics mode
into a defined state. If you want a persistent font changing you'll have to
create a TSR that intercepts int10 to reload the font after a mode change.

enter f1 to f44 to fix the problem.

Er what???

Real DOS doesn't do a mode change with the CLS command, as DOSBox does; it justs clears the video buffer, current mode and fonts are preserved. The external MODE command is used for changing modes from the command prompt. I remember having to do a "MODE CO 80" when some games crashed, because CLS wouldn't get back the text mode. Anyway, not too many games would be impacted by this minor incompatibility unless they use a batch file that has a CLS in it after loading a font, or something like that.

Edit: actually, DOS does do a mode change on CLS if the current mode isn't a text mode:

   mov ah,0fh
int 10h
cmp al,3
jbe no_set
cmp al,7
je no_set
mov ah,0
int 10h
no_set:

It does a mode set to the current mode if not a standard text mode.

If you enter cd myfont, it will cd to myfont.

If you enter Novafont -u, it will give this help message.

If you enter Novafont and a slash before uninstall, then press Enter, then it gives this message which it can't be uninstalled.

You tried looking at the readme files and uninstall the font because it couldn't be uninstalled.

If you enter Novafont and a slash before uninstall, the messages Nova Font for DOS, Alejandro Lieber © 2001 and Font in RAM will be appeared. If you use CLS, the font will change to Novafont. If you close and restart DOS Box, it changes to default font.

You tried the following characters used in Esperanto. ĈĉĜĝĤĥĴĵŜŝŬŭ

You have to make a NovaFont version of Esperanto characters before you installed Esperanto in DOS. Yeah, you also have Unicode support. In Ascii: CcGgHhJjSsUu. In Unicode: ĈĉĜĝĤĥĴĵŜŝŬŭ. You have the 6 characters used for Esperanto, namely C-G-H-J-S circumflex and U breve.

Please help!

Delete the directory if you don't like it any more.

NovaFont for DOS can be found here. I think this post may tie into the OP's previous post about how the CLS command resets the VGA font in DOSBox, but I'm not sure what the question is...

From what I can tell, NovaFont is a resident program that loads a VGA font and and will continue to reload it even through video mode changes. I don't see any mention of a way to uninstall it from memory (such as with command line switches) other than to restart the system. I recall there was a pair of utility programs called Mark and Release which could be used to unload TSRs from memory that had no facility to unload themselves, which might work in DOSBox, but I haven't tried it.

You need a CPX font editor to edit CPX Fonts.

Just try using binary instead of hex.

The MS DOS 6.22 png file will say:

Displays a list of files and subdirectories in a directory.

DIR [drive:][path][filename] [/P] [/W] [/A[[:]attribs]] [/O[[:]sortord]]
[/S] [/B] [/L] [/C[H]]

[drive:][path][filename] Specifies drive, directory, and/or files to list.
/P Pauses after each screenful of information.
/W Uses wide list format.
/A Displays files with specified attributes.
attribs D Directories R Read-only files H Hidden files
S System files A Files ready to archive - Prefix meaning "not"
/O List by files in sorted order.
sortord N By name (alphabetic) S By size (smallest first)
E By extension (alphabetic) D By date & time (earliest first)
G Group directories first - Prefix to reverse order
C By compression ratio (smallest first)
/S Displays files in specified directory and all subdirectories.
/B Uses bare format (no heading information or summary).
/L Uses lowercase.
/C[H] Displays file compression ratio; /CH uses host allocation unit size.

Switches may be preset in the DIRCMD environment variable. Override
preset switches by prefixing any switch with - (hyphen)-- for example, /-W.

C:\>

where you can download the dos 6.22 font for free?

The font name was MS DOS CP 437. You should don't have MS DOS 6.22 now. The font name is called dos622.com when you save the font. Your font has a modified letter.

You also did a mount for c at c:\win3.1 and if you enter c:c DOSBox was frozen. If you press the Reset button, DOSBox disappears. If you press alt+f4 to quit just the bootskin, the bootskin doesn't quit. If you enter C:C Dosbox is frozen and you have to restart it. The PCI device listing will use the new DOS Font. You have the most popular ASCII font on the web. FontCreator was also expired, you're unable to extract the SimSun TTC file. If you login and close the language bar and both Gmail Notifier, the program will quit. If you cut the following code: c:\Program Files\D-Tools\daemon.exe it will work it. DOSBox is very bad. If you enter c:c, DOSBox isn't frozen and you give Illegal command c:c. If you register FontCreator 5.6, you'll be able to extract the SimSun ttc and extract other TTC collections, and will be able to test the font, save the font and install the font. If you uninstall FontCreator and reinstall it, then open a font like Albertus, then use the Save button, you get a message where you have to uninstall it.

You tried a mount of the m:\ drive at c:\games\wa-mofi-dosfont and gave this message: Drive M is mounted as local directory c:\games\wa-mofi-dosfont. You're in February, not January.

The zero and seven in Courier isn't also slashed but you also have a spelling mistake, but you just fixed the mistake.

The command says You aren't also in January? You created a post containing game buttons do grayed out automatically when you try to launch a casino.

edit: removed an image.

This program cannot be run in DOS mode.

You also tried converting the Esperanto characters to Novafont ones. ĈĉĜĝĤĥĴĵŜŝŬŭ

Here is a screenshot after entering We Aren't Just??? in the command line. Its found in the attachment box.

Those aren't really spam, why was it moved? Think that user is just a bit
strange in trying to get some custom codepage set up for his language.
