DOS sort in DOSBox

Hi all,

I thought I'd see if I could use DOSBox to run some old BASIC programs I have (Turbo BASIC in fact). I immediately ran into a problem as the programs rely on the DOS sort command. The BASIC uses a SHELL command to invoke DOS and run sort. This isn't working within DOSBox.

I've tried mounting C:\WINDOWS\Ssytem32 as another disk and putting this in the PATH, but it didn't make any difference.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Pevans

You could see if FREEDOS has sort.exe or copy sort.exe from MS-DOS.

Don't mount Windows directories in DOSBox, almost none of the files in Windows are MS-DOS programs anyway.
