Okay, this idea is way over my head, but I for the life of me can't see why it can't be done, provided a clever enough mind were on it. So let me bounce this around here and see if any one here has any ideas.
If the letters B, B, and S all crammed together don't have any meaning for you, please read this first: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulletin_board_system
The BBSs I used to go to had what was called "door games", many of which are legendary. I'd like to play them again, but they require a BBS to play. Well, BBSs ran on DOS. What if I could host a BBS in DOSBox and allow connections via the internet. Well, then I'd have to fake a modem over the internet. What if more than one person dialed in, as would obviously be the case. Well, some BBSs could handle more than one line. Then of course we'd need a web telnet client so that it can be accessed from a browser to allow ease of use.
So discuss. Is an browser based BBS client connecting to a DOSBox BBS possible?
