I am trying for the first time Dosbox for the need of Speed from win98. It is an XP machine and the program is a little slow. Dosbox helped me work at the same speed as win98 but I am not able to print to lpt1 where a dot matrix printer is connected to TVS. I tried searching for help but do not find anything on printing.

What is the alternative to achive this I tried mounting the drive and at z: if I give dir > prn it is working but once my application starts it is saying printer not ready, all the other things are working fine

Is it that dosbox is only for games and not for running older programs of foxpro/dbase/clipper.

Is there a work around on this or if I make some coding changes will it work ?
