Getting Dosbox to work with Saitek AV8R-01 joystick?

Hi, all.

I recently got a new joystick, a Saitek AV8R-01, and I'm having problems getting Dosbox to recognize it. I use Dosbox to play the original Dynamix Red Baron and Aces of the Pacific so I need Dosbox to recognize not only the x-y axis of a joystick but also the rudder, twisty joystick inputs as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

in the dosbox config file, try different settings in the [joystick] section. In your startmenu *should* be a direct link to editing your config file.
