Hey there,

I stumbled upon a problem playing Wing Commander Privateer 2:

As long as I'm using no config file, the game runs great (Frame Skip set to 3, everything else unchanged) but the Joystick consistently decalibrates.

But as soon as I use my .conf file, the game starts to lack big time. Could somebody please check the .conf? I just started working with Dosbox and I'd appreciate every help 😀.

My Machine: (Modified HP Pavillion d4999t)

Win 7 Prof 64 Bit
Intel Q6700 Quadcore 2,67 GHz
6 GB RAM
Geforce GTX275
DosBox 0.72

Sorry but I don't get it. As I've said I'm using 0.72 so I quite don't understand what's wrong with that 😀?

0.72 is old, that's what is wrong with it. I don't think many people here bother or even remember old version specific configs.

Um... There's nothing left to say but: You're right. 0.74 picked up the game easily. But now it runs like hell and crtl F11 doesn't really help to slow it down (Mouse cursor etc.). As well I still have the uncoordinated joystick 😒

Try with cycles=40000
Or a higher number if it is too slow

yay it worked with 45000 cycles. Now the game runs fine and the decalibration is almost naught.

Thanks guy's 😀
