I recommend the frontend "D-Fend Reloaded".

It's much much easier to use! Adding things like a floppy or CD is very simple as well. It's all through windows interface, no editing of text files 😀

Umm...it's a good idea to purchase vintage software online, but it's never a good idea to download software that costs money. See what I mean. 😒

"Freewared", I don't think so. How do I know this? The game is still being sold on eBay, Bonanza and even SV Books.

A game is freeware if the copyright holder declared it to be.
They usually still put some regulations in there though, others don't care.

I don't think its freeware. None of the gold box series has been made freeware to my knowledge.

I too don't think that game is freeware at all. 🙁 It's still being sold though, but no new copies are being made.

If its not freeware and you downloaded it then most likely its ABANDONWARE! Abandonware is not supported on this site. How about you going to the site where you got it and ask them. Most abandonware sites will help you.

That's right. This n00b probably downloaded a game that is abadonware. Most websites (including this one) do not support abandonware due to legal issues and are even forbidden to discuss this.

I strongly expect that this thread will get locked soon. And since abadonware is not supported, I'm even calling abadonware a hindrance to support and development regardless of marketshare and availability. 😠

You would have to purchase the product. Like I said, abandonware is not supported on this site period.
