I've been using dosbox for several years on Linux and on the latest installation in Mageia, if I exit the box or close it down, it often stops my mouse clicks working. The mouse moves, but clicks do not register. Keyboard seem s to work. Closing the box, rather than just leaving it with STL-F10 is more reliable, but still sometimes fails.

I can CTL-ALT-BACKSPACE to take me back to the login screen and log back in. Nothing else seems to bring the mouse back, including unplugging it and plugging it back in.

Anyone come across this and have a fix?

Ta.

recall somebody once debugging this and it was not a bug of dosbox, but something with sdl and a specific set of window managers.
do you use a fancy window manager ?

No, not using any of the silly effects, just using bog standard KDE. However, I might have fixed it with the sticky here:

[resolved] Mouse locking gives strange results

Although my error is not the same as others', it is a mouse error, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's been working reliably for an hour or so with me nipping in and out of the box with ALT-F10. Hopefully the script recommended has fixed it.
