Can't seem to be able to take a snapshot

Okie, I feel really silly for having to post this, but I can't seem to take a snapshot while playing a game. According to what I read, you take a snapshot by pressing Ctrl+F5. And then it will save the file as a .png in the dosbox folder under Capture. I've tried multiple times and nothing appears to happen.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is it saved somewhere else? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! 😀

When you make captures there should be a message in the DOSBox Status Window that tells you exactly where the file was written. In Windows there is a shortcut called "Screenshots & Recordings" to open the capture folder on the DOSBox menu under the "Extras" submenu.

Thank you for your help. It still wasn't letting me take a snapshot when I hit Ctrl+F5. Never was acknowledged in the status window. So I reinstalled DosBox and it started working. Used the Extras in the start menu to navigate to the .png files 😀
