I hope it is ok asking help for my problem here.
there is an old DOS accounting app that i run it under dosbox. it ask for a password right after run it (i don't have it). i could enter the program by enter a big number in the byte that store try count of enter the passcode (with cheat engine). fortunately it work and program start. but i want to change the passcode and it ask me the old pass again.
it is beyond my acknowledge. so i log the debug of moment i hit the 'enter' key after enter a wrong password and the moment app say it is wrong.
I hope someone could find what the entered password compare again and so detect the passcode.
The (wrong) PassCode I enter is: "FGHJ"
