ok, im on the games list for dosbox, i scroll down and i see the supported games for the versions of dosbox. it says this:

B R P S
DOSBox 0.61 (369) 42 30 25 272
DOSBox 0.60 (759) 106 73 68 512
DOSBox 0.58 (1153) 285 8 11 849

Key: B - Broken R - Runable P - Playable S - Supported

wouldnt 0.61 support 849 games instead of 0.51 supporting 849 games? please tell me which version you reccomend. and also tell me the advatages and disadvantages of the version.

Its very simple. The numbers are only representative of what people have had a chance to test with. Since 0.61 is more recent, fewer games have been tested, though I think its a fairly safe assumption to think that the number of supported games carries over from the previous versions. In short, the latest version should always be prefered.
