Hello,

first of all, Dosbox is great! finally i can play those old games again.

Secondly, I can't seem to get the sound fo warcraft 2 to work correctly, the units work fine with sounds but as music i can only get the low quality midi music. While the game states that my sound card works perfectly during the installation.

I never had this problem before with the original cd (which i still use). So i guess it has to do something with dosbox....anyone has a clue?

Thanks in advance

Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness?
What music card are you choosing in the game's setup?

I never had this problem before with the original cd (which i still use).

Wich music card did you use on real hardware with wich you compare the emulation?

To get DOSBox to play CD audio from an actual CD, the CD needs to be in the drive, and you need to mount it properly, with CD audio support, e.g.:
mount g f:\ -t cdrom -ioctl_dx
where F: is the actual CD drive letter in your PC, and G: is the drive letter you want to assign in DOSBox.

Then, to have CD Audio in Warcraft II, you need to enable it in the sound options menu (F7 during a game).
