Well I looked here:
http://www.fmi.uni-sofia.bg/fmi/logic/skordev/layouts.htm
My assumption is that you're either using the "Belgian (Comma)" Layout or the "Belgian French" Layout which are both AZERTY.
Which brought me here:
http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/reference/keyboards.aspx
-- You NEED to use IE to see this, I tried this in FIREFOX and it won't show up. 😒 --

On the "Belgian (Comma)" it shows the ":" between the ";" and the "=" on the lower part of the keyboard layout.
On the "Belgian French" it shows the ":" between the ";" and the "=" on the lower part of the keyboard layout.

So it should be in the same spot? No matter what. Look at the layouts maybe you're just not seeing it. Hmm.

Anyways, you should be able to use the Mapper anyways and tap the key so that it binds it in DOSBox also there is a utility somewhere on this forum that should help if the Mapper doesn't help.

hellow again , thanx for replying

here you have a picture of my Mapper http://storage.msn.com/s1pZ8pl_R1n1zF6_iGhMnL … 883990056562920
it's indeed between ; and = , but if i switch to another keyboard language like english , it seems to be a dead key , even in MS word ...

Whatever i push in my keymapper or dosbox , using alt , ctrl shift or alt Gr , I just can't find the : 😢

you have any Idea where to find this utility

greetz and thanks again

I Think you're suppose to keep the layout that's on your keyboard and then map your it to the layout in our MAPPER. At least that's how I understand it. I wish i could help more but I use a QWERTY layout.
Hopefully someone who has an AZERTY layout could be of better help.

There are two things necessary to understand:
a) The mapper remaps physically keys on US keyboard. You remap keys here, not characters!!!
: on US keyboard is <shift> ;
You can move it where you want, but you cannot separate : and ; to two keys.

b) National keyboards - use KEYB from FreeDOS (see README). This should enable you your national keyboard as it was available in normal DOS.

If you want to have the precisely the same situation as it was in original MS DOS, then leave mapping in mapper as it is (delete mapper.txt if you already changed it) and use KEYB to get your national keyboard.
The mapper is usefull if you want to remap keys in your favourite game or if you want a bit modified US keyboard.
Use KEYB for national keyboard which differs significantly from US keyboard.

Just run it in DOSBOX (you can put it also into [autoexec] section of DOSBOX.CONF so that it is always started when DOSBOX starts).
