New here but DosBox is great... I'm having trouble running PCFILE in the box however. 64 bit win 10 system. Does anyone have a successful experience with PCFILE??

What most people in this forum will tell you is that DOSBox was designed for running DOS games, not productivity applications. Although many of those will happen to work in DOSBox due to the accuracy of the emulation, such applications are not officially supported. (That's the policy of the DOSBox developers.)
You're better off running DOS in a VM using virtualization software. VirtualBox is the most user-friendly of them to install, as well as open source. You will have to install DOS in such a VM as well, though, just as you would have to on an actual DOS PC. If you don't have a licensed copy of MS-DOS available on which to run PCFILE, you could try installing FreeDOS and running PCFILE on that.
See this wiki page for more info and instructions: http://wiki.freedos.org/wiki/index.php/VirtualBox
Good luck! 😀
PCFile should run perfectly well in vDos:
You won't need a VM or anything equally complicated.
I've run most versions of PC-File and PC-File+ without issue in DOSBox.
