I installed and can run a game just fine on DOSBox, however when I tried to install an add-on game requiring the original to be installed, I keep getting the following response:

"The path you have specified does not contain a valid database for "game." You should either specify another path, or re-install your copy of "game."

I've triple checked the path and tried to reinstall several times with no success. It's been decades since I've used DOS so it may just be me being a little rusty, or something specific to DOSBox that's hindering me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

A-train (primary game) and A-train construction set (add on.)

Both files downloaded from myabandonware.com.

Abandonware is NOT supported here! Go ask the people where you got it from or get a legit copy from ebay.

I've asked on that site however I got no response. I have a legit copy on floppy disk but none of my PCs have drives for them.

Alas, our rules are clear. Not just because using it's a legal question, but also because those abandoneare rips bring so many selfmade problems.
