Is it possible to switch the ZMBV codec with the MSU codec? (or any other codec a user decides to use?)

Nice compression ratio, especially in 16 color mode.. just wondering how well MSU will do in monochrome and 4 color (CGA) modes, compared to the other codecs... 😉

I'm not sure if that will work. People would then try to use xVid/DivX and complain that everything is out of sync or too slow. The compression of codecy might slow everything down too much, so ANY codec is probably not doable.

dosbox writes avi file directly, using internal codec. That's the only way it can be done crossplatform. VFW codec is only used when watching the movies later...Therefore a different codec cannot be used.
