Going nuts here. How do you edit the autoexec.bat in the Z: drive. I want to load a program call into it and EDIT is an illegal command.
Thanks,
Doug
Oh, how do you edit the .conf file also?

You adjust your autoexec.bat by editing the config file. You'll find the spot you need at the bottom typically.
Autoexec problem solved......thank you.
Now.... I've looked closely at the conf file. Is there a way to force a certain window size? This is a dos-based business application and the window is a tad small. I've adjusted the pif for the program, but it appears that dosbox ignores those values and uses its own.
Tried ALT-ENTER? 😵

ALT-ENTER just goes full screen, which I could also do in conf file.
I'm just needing a 'larger' window, but not full.
well check that configfile again
the solution is in there
