I know I don't have the best resources available
(Old iBook G3 300 Mhz PPC, with 160 Mb memory and osx 10.3.9), but I can't even play alley cat anymore while I was able to play some light games before. I ran Keen and Crystal Caves at normal speed.
I reinstalled DOSBox, but that didn't work. The regular frame rate tricks etc. don't work either.
Does anyone know what could have caused it to become so slow?
Does it matter how much data is on the location I mount as C?

Do you have something running in the background that may have slipped you?

As was said, something running in the background. Also, what sort of settings were you using? It sounds like those could've been lost from before.

Also are you trying a different game this go around? Your system more than likely won't be able to handle much more than games in the fairly old category.
