In the first all runs OK.
but in the old one the DosBox use the cpu over 95% - this thing make my pc two slow and i can't even run the DosBox in a proper way.
what i need to change?

Tanx a lot.

Download a CVS build of DosBox from my signature below and report back.

Use either ykhwon'g or gulikoza's.

1. Download CVS build (these are newer and better optimised).
2. Set core=dynamic in dosbox.conf (warning: this will make a few games not work)
3. Increase frameskp in dosbox.conf or use ctrl F8 (*) if still too slow.
4. Increase cycles in dosbox.conf or use ctrl F12 until cpu is at around 90%

Cycles and frameskip tend to need tweaking for each game for optimum performance.

* - ykhwong's build seems to have a bug where ctrl F8 doesn't increase frameskip.

A P3-800 is going to struggle with many games after '93-'94 whatever you do.

Didn`t happen to install SP2 recently did you? If so it has NOTHING to do with dosbox.

Go into task manager and end "Explorer.exe" from the processes list, sounds crazy I know but it is the root of your problem and you`ll only ever have to do that once. Every time you start your computer from then on it`ll run fine.
