I have gotten my favorite software Ensemble 4.01 from www.breadbox.com software to operate in Linux with Dosbox.
I haven't seen any instructions or guidance on accessing the local LPT port so that I could possibly use my printer with it.

LPT access is not possible at all , printing is available only in Windows with an unofficiall printer patch (I think that some CVS builds use it).

Thanks for the update and information. There is a workaround to this problem in Ensemble6. I was hoping for the more direct and common approach 😀
I will print to a ghostscrtipt driver and print the documents out of Linux.
