for some reason it doesnt do anything
i try to mount the thing, ive followed all readme's and faq's i can find but everything is always illegal operation...

can someone make a video on exactly how to make it run in xp, all i want it for is to play red alert, from hard drive, not cd. for some reason the win95 version of red alert is corrupt

You should describe more exactly what you do, and what messages you get. If in doubt, post a screenshot.

In the "Guides" forum, there is a guide for people who are completely new to dosbox.
