With my current system, most games run rather shabby with dosbox in Winxp. With my upgrade to an Intel e6400 duo, Nvidia 7900gt, 2048ddr2 800Mhz, can I expect all my games to run smooth with no frame rate problems in Dosbox? Games such as Stonekeep and Tex Murphy have rather poor performance(Very playable though). Id like to play these games like I did through Windows98 and DOS, completely smooth. So, can I expect this with my upgrade? This is basically why I want to upgrade my system. Thanks very much for any info. Also like to note, I will be overlcocking my new system to 800Mhz fsb, which would run the cpu at 3.2gig.
