Still work? I'd love to put together an "alternate" build which includes the virtual printer and the SVGA chipset patches, but is based on the STABLE releases rather than CVS, but since nobody's talked about the Virtual Printer since 2006 (and the general topic of discussion was "CVS broke the printing after 0.65", I have my doubts...

Also, anybody have a good name for the build? "Productivity Edition" perhaps?

I have a more recent version of the patch which even has color bmp and png -
Colour Printing - DosBox/XP?

I don't know if it is compatible with current CVS but if you want it say so.

Yum... That would be awesome, assuming it will apply to vanilla 0.71. 0.71+SVGA+Printer = the Ultimate DOS VM

Actually, as I don't have the needed Win32 toolchain, a custom build of that would be nice... I really do wonder WHY everybody seems to base custom build off of CVS dumps rather than actual released versions...

I remember that I have tried to print with this virtual printer patch (Moe's build for linux, i think) and it did not work for me. 🙁

But Moe's build was based on post 0.65 cvs, not on the stable 0.65 release. Now I know why it didn't work 😠 .
