Hi 😀

I've written (yet) a(nother) guide to run old PC games. It tries to cover the whole field and is organized in separate articles, but the most detailed and best parts are arguably the basic and advanced DOSBox tutorials. It's in English and Spanish, you can find it here:

The table of contents is bilingual but the tutorials are separate for each language. The English version is also posted at www.abandonia.com and the Spanish one at www.enlh.com

PS: The link you provide for the DOSBox tutorial at Abandonia is broken since the site refurbishing. Right now the only tutorials at Abandonia are in the troubleshooting forums. There's currently another one besides mine:

Yeah, these "Guides" don't even talk about installing the games (only about unpacking archives) - according to these "Guides", it's as if there is no such thing as original games. I'd even remove the links in the original post if i were a mod.

Feel free to use the parts you deem right selectively, and to edit my post. 😀 The guide explains how to unpack because that's the kind of question I hear. Each original game has its own installing program that's different every time and should be straight forward, so a guide for that is neither necessary nor possible.
