I have been experimenting with running two DOSBox windows simultaneously (under WinXP). Because the name of the running program is at the very end of the long title string, it is impossible to distinguish between them on the Alt+Tab display or on the task bar, so I must open each one to see if it's the correct one.

Would it be possible to have an option to put the name of the running program close to the beginning of the title?: e.g.:
DOSBox: MyProg. v 0.72, Cpu....
(This would be on both the task bar and task switcher)

Or even better to have a configuration option to specify the window title completely?

Thanks!

it is an interesting problem.
I would go for
DOSBox 0.72: MyProg...then, if I were to change it
You have the option to change the entire window by modifying the source. A configoption is a waste of configspace imho

But it would be so fun with an option where you could specificy

title=DOSBox %v: %P (cycles %c, skips %s)
