Feature request for D-Fend Reloaded:

A nice feature to have would be a list of pdf's located in the games install folder. Some games like SSI's goldbox series kept some essential game information in the printed documentation. Seeing as most DOS games predate the use of the PDF format, the PDF files would be user created or downloaded from http://www.replacementdocs.com.

I would be careful of that one. While Replacement Docs is a valuable resource for classic gamers, it does tread a gray area. The manuals are copyrighted material, too, and often contain copy protection for the games, themselves. I would not link to the site in the frontend.

Doesn't DFR already allow you to define links as part of the general game info? I thought it did. DBGL does. I typically use it for links to the publishers site, download link for freeware versions, forums, etc.

I know replacementdocs and also know this site is useful some time. But exactly for collectors reasons I'll not link to this or to similar sites from D-Fend Reloaded.

But if you want to, you can add it to the game search engines list in your DFR installation manually: Select "Edit links" from the "Search game" submenu of the "Profiles" menu and add in the dialog a new line with the name "Replacement docs" and the link URL

(@MiniMax: In DFR you can not only define links per profile but also a list of search engines - like the search engines box in many browsers. Right after installation DFR knows the URLs to search for game information at Moby games, Squakenet and Google.)
