hey guys i'm tyring to play a really old game and the command were written in swedish
Vista can't type the characters ÅÄÖ åäö and so i tried DOSBox but it doesn't work either
is there any patch or some way i can get these characters to work ?
(I apologise if this is a double post but i couldn't find anything similar to this, only that the swedish layout didn't work)

I doubt that. If there are keys on your keyboard for these letters (like, on my german keyboard for öÖäÄß), then you should be able to type them (and Vista should recognize them, if it is setup correctly). Besides, there's always the "ALT+xxx" way to get special characters. Anyway, if these special keys do not work in the host OS, i think they won't work easily in DOSBox, too (this is just a guess).
Being in Sweden myself, I can assure you that Vista can handle Swedish characters just fine.
