No! Don't ban me! Or... I'll... yeah....

Anyways! How do I post a picture? I got some of Death Rally and I want to post them! But I can't because I don't know how...

Is there anyway to upload it or send it to someone for them to post it?

Thanks!

-Kail

If I do that, will it show up?

it should, for fun here is a tiny jpg of my cat... used the upload function near the botom. I should think that you could edit your post as well (should be an edit button near the botom of your posts)...

Here you go again! It didn't let me put up a new picture, so here it is! 0.60 DOSBox was used!

No other programs. the /w variable wasn't used either.

Necro, to post pics you need to make sure they are *.jpg/*.jpeg (same thing.) To post a pic, do "post a reply" and near the bottom, past the message area, there should be something that says "Attach File" click browse and go to the directory where the pic you want to upload is. Afterwards click Submit Reply and tadaa!

If you have Photoshop 7 here is how to make a *.jpeg.

When you save for web (File Menu -> Save For Web), on the top right corner there is an options menu, there should be something that says "GIF" in there, click it and go down to JPEG. Click save! and come running here to post it.

Hope it helps! 😁

ah, thank you guys. i'm used to posting on a certain board where you need to pay for features like that, so i guess i never even thought that it would work here. and now, for all your efforts: Quest for Glory 4.

so you've been running it? out of curiosity, have you been able to get sound to work in any form? even when sound works for QG4 in Windows, it doesn't work when running it through DOSBox.
also, i wasn't aware that the game had been working for so long. i was only introduced to this project a few weeks ago. sorry if it was a repeat.

Oops. Looks like something did break after all. Yes, both "Quest for Glory" 3 & 4 work properly with sound in the 0584 Beta. Up to that point, QFG3 didn't work properly with digital audio (locking into a loop when a digital sound played...and usually it wasn't just the audio).

QFG4 bombed out the instant you used the mouse even as late as version 0583, but 0584 worked fine.

Not a problem, much of this was kept quiet during Beta development because they didn't want to announce success prematurely on many games.

The constant release of CVS versions kind of clouds the issue since what works properly on one CVS release might not work properly on another.

totally unsupported, of course, so keep .58 around as well.

[edit]actually, i got the newest one a few days ago, and it's marked as .58
the one i had from two days before was .60, i think. weird.
