When trying out v0.73, I couldn't get any of the .DRO files it created to play (using XMPlay with the In_Adlib plugin, also usable in Winamp)... was the format changed in 0.73, so nothing can play the files now? I checked 0.72 CVS with the music in the same games and the files it created were perfectly playable with XMPlay.

When trying to convert DRO 0.73 files to MIDI files, there is a problem: DRO file uses multiple OPL chips. I'm using DRO2MIDI v1.4 converter. v1.4 is the latest version...

I made a dro file with dosbox 0.73, http://audacious-media-player.org/ audacious was able to play it. Looks like they added the changes from adplug upstream a little while back.

You are 199k RAM short of having enough memory.
You need to buy more memory or remove any memory resident programs, Dude.

I was also irritated when I read about the Audacious plugin - I just recently switched back to Win XP after some time realizing I wasn't cut out for even Puppy Linux - but I poked around and was delighted by what I found.

The recent version of AdPlug will work with DRO files captured with DOSBox (tested this myself). More importantly, that includes the Winamp plugin in_adlib:

grab 1.8.2 and Winamp and you should have the best Adlib format player you can get in Windows. I haven't tested it thoroughly yet, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it perfectly.
