Error message from DOSbox crash.

Hi, all.

In DOSbox 0.72 on linux I receive the following error when attempting to play any game inside DOSbox:

X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 139 (MIT-SHM)
Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_ShmPutImage)
Value in failed request: 0xffd8
Serial number of failed request: 484
Current serial number in output stream: 485

The programs work on other (Windows) machines, just not this one.

Also the error is not affected (it seems) by operating in full screen or windowed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually that error means that an app is asking X to do something that is causing problems. As to which is the problem, is hard to tell.
But I ran across someone who had the same problem

on Ubuntu who solved the problem by getting a newer version of dosbox.
I'd suggest trying that first.

If that doesn't work, I'd suggest starting dosbox using the default settings by starting up dosbox to not use the config files, just in case dosbox.conf or .dosboxrc are misconfigured and using settings that is causing X problems.
