hi sir,

I install dosbox on my ubuntu box. We have windows xp machine then i try to mount windows share on my dos box.

i execute this command on ubuntu to access windows share.
mount -t smbfs -o username=username,password=password,uid=user,gid=domain //windowsxp/samba /mnt2/samba

then on dosbox i try this command to mount widows share
mount c: /mnt2/samba

But dosbox cannot find this path. In ubuntu i succesfully read and write windows share.

Please help me. Thanks

You probaly have to enter 'mount c /Volumes/mnt2/samba/'

Sir when i executed "pwd" command on my mount directory. It shows /mnt2/samba. How I can include "/Volumes" options. I think Dos Box cannot see samba shares. because when i mount my home directory on samba or "/mnt2" it works. But when i try to mount "/mnt2/sambat" dos box cannot find this path. Thanks

maybe this isn't the point but I think you have to give the drive letter without a colon; so mount c <path> not mount c: <path>.

I try also to mount without the ":" on drive letter. But its not works. Thanks

The Mac OS X ':Volumes:' property is known as ' /mnt/' on Linux,
so my hint was totally wrong.

Found that in the Language Reference of the programming language I use.

any solution for this?

i have the same problem. dosbox does not recognise my mounted network share. makes no difference if use cifs or smbfs.

is there a mounting option i've missed?
