Hi there...first off, if this has been answered PLEASE let me know where to look and I will be sorry that I did not look hard enough to find the answer to this situation.
Equipment Have:
HP III laser printer - parallel connection
Gateway m-1625 Laptop - no parallel ports
Software:
MicroSoft Windows Vista
DOSBox 0.74
--> Assorted software installed within the DOSBox directory.
What I am wondering is that if I get to a parallel to USB connector (I do know they make them, I have seen them and I have a way of getting one) can I use it through DOSBox to do some actual printing from the word processors I have installed through DOSBox (WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows specifically).
I have the printer in storage in another location and I do not have it out due to space where I live, but when I move into a bigger place, I am planning on taking it out. I just would love to know if it is possible.
I love using DOSBox as it I can run many of my favourite games from my DOS days and haven't had any issues with it, I just want help with it. Thank-you all for reading this...hopefully someone can help. 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
