Just getting my old Lost Treasures of Infocom out of the box.

1) I have 3 1/2 disks
Windows XP makes the drive spin but eventually wants to format the
disk which of course would erase it.
2) using the mount command mount c c:\ etc. does not create a file access
as it should. The error message says that the file does not exist.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks

SC

Sounds like your disks are kaput, or that you're not using the PC version. Perhaps you should try them on a different computer?

Are you typing "mount c c:" or does "etc" mean you're doing something else?

Did you use "mount a a:\ -t floppy"?
