I built a dosbox with debugger on my IA-64 microprocessor but it did not work, I have heard that there is problem with debugger+IA-64, could anyone tell me more about this ?

A regular dosbox build works fine, yes? And you want to enable the curses-based
debugger for dosbox? Don't know if anybody tried, but check if curses is claimed
to be compatible with IA64/linux.
Also please post the exact steps you're performing when compiling, as well as
the exact error message you get.
