I saw the suggestion thread but I would like a list of features that will be in the next version.

i will post the new things on the homepage when there is a new release.

You can read the changes to dosbox at
http://source.dosbox.com/dosboxsvn.txt
If you read the messages there closely then you can guess what will be in the next version.

There's this nasty problem with certain tunes played through OPL, like that from Doom2's map12. It basically sounds like some synth piano replacing a drum line, creating dissonance, but it could be something else, however, I have a real sb16 to compare it against and it's definitely broken regardless of the config.

Question is, I couldn't find anything relevant to the problem in the svn changelog, but maybe it's been addressed under a misleading name? this has been an issue forever so... 🤐

Well, I stand for "regardless of the config" and no version of DosBox actaully gets it right, at least not on WinXP. Currently I have the latest stable version installed, plus I've been unable to use the svn builds for a while since I'm missing some libraries which are not supplied.

You should be able to reproduce this with the default settings.

Well then post a full report in an own thread, including the opl settings you tried.
Chances are rather low to fix something like this without digital captures of
played-back opl streams.
