I'm trying to get DosBox to work with a dos/windows cdrom of Sid Mier's Colonization. My problem is mounting the cdrom. In Windows I'd tell it the drive letter, but Mac OS X doesn't use drive letters.

Using DosBox Launcher I could mount the cdrom, but then it asks me what directory I want to install the software to, and nothing I put in works since I only have a cdrom mounted and no destination drive mounted.

Egads!!! Any suggestions?

You should ask this question on VOGONS > DOSBox > General as this forum is for talking about macintosh emulators and you ask about a PC emulator.

btw - i am curious how to solve your problem too 😉
I guess you should try typing this "mount c your_hdd_drive_name" and "mount d your_cdrom_drive_name".

mount c /home/games/whatever
mount d /dev/cdrom
