Hi all,

Can anyone help out on this? I've got an HP PC with Windows 7 and using DOSBox I want to run Championship Manager 2. I can mount the CM2 folder fine but it wants the CD in the D:\ drive. If I put the CD in my computer it still doesn't find it and if I use mount d d:\ -t cdrom that works ok but when you look at D:\ it shows the D:\ drive on my PC which is the HP recovery area.

Basically I can't mount D:\ to be the CM2 CD no matter what command I try, I always get the HP recovery area so what can I do to get CM2 on D:\? The program won't run if I mount the CD elsewhere, it has to be on the D:\ drive.

Cheers

Tim

Thanks for that, I've read the README and tried every command I can but whatever MOUNT D D:\ etc etc I try it will say its worked but when I go to D:\ its always the HP Recovery area.

Have you come across this before? I could try and change the drive letter for HP Recovery but don't want to damage the PC to be honest so there must be a way to get it working with DOSBox and its commands?

Mount xx: aa:\

where xx is the virtual drive inside DOSBox (Set it to D)
Where aa is your host CD drive letter (Check "My Computer")

Cheers for that DOS Freak much appreciated. Right that's worked so D:\ is now the Championship Manager 2 CD which is excellent. If I go back to my mounted C:\cm2 folder I can type CM2.exe but it now says:

Error: can not find *LASERLOK* CD_ROM in any drive.

Now the LASERLOK is a directory on the CD drive which is there so it should find it ok.

Any ideas? I really thought that would do it ok but do you know how LASERLOK works?

Thanks again

Tim

Cheers all
