I've used DosBox in the past, just as recently as about a week ago. I went to play a game I've played many times before on here, and DosBox won't launch for me.

When I click on the icon, I get the DosBox logo on the orange background, then the black screen, then it just disappears. Just to try it, I grabbed the Win version and it will launch fine under Wine.

Any ideas?

DosBox .74
Macbook Intel Core 2 Duo (2006 build)
OSX 10.6.7

First, next time post in the dosbox forum. This forum is about emulating a mac not emulation on mac.
To troubleshoot, rename the dosbox config. You find it at ~/library/preferences/dosbox 0.74 preferences. Then try again. If it still won't work, go in your applications folder, right click the dosbox application and click on "show package contents". New finder window will open, go to contents/macos and the doubleclick the dosbox binary. It should behave the same way but it will also open a terminal window with a possible error. Copy/paste the contents of the terminal window here.
