Hello everybody!

I am having a problem with DOSBox's video capture feature.

I am using DOSBox 0.74 for Linux, I'm on Linux Mint 10. Since the keyboard shortcut to start recording video in DOSBox is CTRL+ALT+F5, I remapped it to SHIFT+F5 to avoid the issue with Linux switching consoles.

SHIFT+F5 worked fine to start recording video. A new video file popped up in my DOSBox config\capture folder, and I saw that its size was growing, showing that it was recording at the time. I pressed SHIFT+F5 again, and it stopped recording. Ok, that's fine!

Here's where the problem comes in...Whenever I start DOSBox now, it just starts recording on its own when I run an application. I noticed this because all of my more graphic intense DOS games started running very choppy. The recording doesn't start when I'm at the DOS prompt screen, only when I run a game.

Pressing SHIFT+F5 disables the recording, but it just starts again on its own during the same session.

Am I doing something wrong here? Can anyone help me figure this out? Help is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hey, thanks! That worked. I deleted the mapper file and just remapped video capture to some other key combo. It seems to be working fine now, and not automatically recording. Not sure what that was all about, but thank you for the suggestion!
