I have a suggestion that might be helpful.
The problem I have is that the joystick is too sensitive in Dosbox, adjusting it in the configuration software of the joystick doesn't seem to change it.
Then I though if Dosbox takes it input directly from the hardware then it would explain why the configuration software doesn't work.
Maybe it is possible to have the joystick sensitivity made adjustable in the .conf file.
