I have my MT-32 going into the line-in on my SB. Make the config changes, great, everything works.

I'm trying to now output the thing to a PVR to record some footage. I'm using an NVidia card, so outputting it over HDMI. The video and sound blaster go through just fine, but the MT-32 still only plays over the speakers.

On the control panel, I have line-in being forced to play over the HDMI, but that doesn't seem to work. Unfortunately, being Windows 8, I'm having a hard time even playing MIDI to begin with, as it just wants to use that horrible midi emulation, so I'm unsure of if this is default behavior.
