I am a programming a program to use in DosBox.

Does DosBox get it's time from the windows timer?

I have been using a timer that uses a combination of the BIOS timer and pit counters.

But if DosBox actually gets it's time from windows, that would be better.

does it really matter ? You can only access the dosbox dos timers from within dosbox
