Since DOSBox already features Scale2x, is it possible to implement these filters too?

Scale2x is good, but these filters have a better blending effect on the colors, further reducing the pixelation .
Did you try advmame2x?
Yeah, but scale2x IS advmame2x. I already talked about scale2x in the first post.
The real name of the filter is scale2x, and it was developed by the author of AdvanceMame.
The point is that the combo Fullscreen Stretching + 2xSai + Bilinear Filter still look the best in almost every emulator, and nowadays it is a doable thing for the most of the CPUs.
Well, 'till the day hq2x will become the standard...
there will be more filters in the future. but not very fast.
They tend to take lot's of cpu usage as well
