I'm not clear that the base version does, but the DAUM version with it's various patches certainly does.

I know beforehand that DAUM did, I'm sorry I forgot to add this. And thanks for putting me in right direction, because I couldn't find where to change that option in the .CONF.

Another way to go is to use BASSMIDI to load custom soundfonts, and then you just have BASSMIDI set as your Microsoft MIDI device, then load DOSBox as normal.
