Following the Win3.1 on dosbox guide, using http://androiddosbox.appspot.com/ 0.2.5 - later than the appstore version of this.

Win3.1 installed ok, but the sound install does not find a soundcard at any of the base addresses.

The environment has BLASTER A220 I7 D1 T3

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a bug in Adosbox ... don't want to resort to paying for a leech off this opensource project

Did you install Windows 3.1 Creative Labs drivers?

Yes, used the set from that thread - graphics went in ok., but the sound install just says there is no card at 220 .. tried the other addrs as well - Hmm, wonder if I can find something else that would test sound, like an old "pinball fantasies" demo or Inertia player - yeah, Inertia player if I can find it, I remember using it in DOS

Keep in mind that this is the forums for the official DOSBox. The builds for Droid are unofficial and questions about it should be directed to whoever created the port.

Solved - it was set to SB2 rather than SB16, so the SB16 software was not recognizing it as it was showing as the wrong card.

Tested with the old utility WINTACH
wintach android adosbox 0.2.5
word 5.36
cad 12.88
spread 12.16
paint 12.48

0.72 relative to 386dx20/vga

A handy little test for emulating Windows - have to get the speed equivalent on my main system.
