Problem with Joypad

Hi,

I stumbled acrossd this site while trying to get my "Bitmap Brothers Compilation" to run. With Dosbox it is absolutly no problem - nearly. Everything goes fine, except that only two directions of my joypad are recognized, "up" and "left". "Right" and "down"-directions do not work.

When starting dosbox, there is a line stating
"Using Microsoft-Joystick-Emulation with 5 axes and 11 Buttons", which seems correctly because I am using a USB Logitech Joypad.

Even after reading the README and searching the forum I did not found a solution or even a hint for fiddling with the config.

Any help would be appreciated,

PS: Btw, I am using Windows XP. I have read the guide for posting requests, but at the moment I see no reason to post all the boring stuff about my videocard and so on. 😉

Yea, I got the same problem with my brother's USB joypad.

Weird thing is, all games I tried to play with that thing work fine, except for Alien Breed : Tower Assault... Up and left on the D-Pad as well as button 1 and 2 are recognized, but pressing right or down doesn't do anything.

We tried both 2axis and 4axis options, but to no avail.
