I am running a Database called Portex which is supported very well using DosBox.

Now we want to mount an application which is a the SSD card the main linux OS lives.

now to leave the Z prompt and enter the application we shall call it E

normally that easy:-

at the Z prompt:-

Mount e e:\

yields the Z prompt and entering E:

the Portex application and all is well !!

Absolutely Brilliant !! Now we try to enter a different partition ( lets call it F ) we come seriously unstuck ! the OS recognises the partition exists but not the F ........

No matter how hard we try...it refuses to mount it... We have tried various way to change the partition name so that it can accessed but a mega Zero...

WE have some we have seriously gone wrong with our understating of how to create a partition that DosBox will allow to be mounted.

HELP Please !!! probable a simple but necessary adjustment but we have missed it big time !

Any thoughts very very welcome !

Many thanks to anyone who can point us in the right direction !!
